South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV Blows Out Glenn Thanks To Big Second Inning
South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV scored 12 runs in the second on its way to a 12-1 victory over Glenn on Wednesday. The big inning was thanks to a single by Nate Barnes, a walk , a triple by Brady Gumpf, a triple by Aiden Short, a passed ball , a groundout by Michael Schroeder, a single by Chazz Troester, a single by Gumpf, and a double by Short.
Michael Schroeder earned the win for South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV. He tossed three innings, allowing zero runs, one hit, striking out four, and walking zero. Joel Ayers took the loss for Glenn. He went two innings, giving up 12 runs, and nine hits.
South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV collected ten hits. Chazz Troester, Brady Gumpf, and Aiden Short each collected multiple hits for South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV. Gumpf and Short each drove in three runs to lead South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV. South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV didn’t commit a single error in the field. Short had the most chances in the field with four.
Zach Neiswender went 0-for-2 at the plate as he led the team with one run batted in.
