Game Recap

The Indians visited Culver Military Academy Wednesday evening and brought home a thrilling 10-9 win over the #3 ranked Eagles.

After an even first quarter where the Indian’s extra man offense scored on both of their opportunities, the Eagles exploded for 4 second quarter goals to take a 6-3 advantage into halftime. In the third quarter the Eagles extended their lead, scoring 2 goals to the Indian’s 1 giving them a 8-4 lead.

In the final quarter, midfielder Andy Han (’18) controlled the face off X providing the offense the opportunity to pick away at the Eagle’s lead. Sophomore Stevie Murphy (’19) scored the equalizing goal with only 19 seconds left in the game and Max Saavedra (’17) fed a cutting Andy Han (’18) who scored the game winner with only 10 seconds remaining.

The Indians will finish out the regular season this Saturday at 3pm against the visiting Carmel Greyhounds at Leighton Stadium.
