Multiple Teams · Indians are headed to the State Finals



The Saint Joseph High School baseball team is headed to the IHSAA Class 3A State Finals for the first time in school history.

The Indians (24-4) defeated Northwood 8-5 to capture the Class 3A northern Semi-State title on Saturday.

With the win, the Indians will advance to play Jasper (31-4) at Victory Field in Indianapolis on Saturday at 2pm ET.

The game was highlighted by a monster homer by Alex Voss to help seal the victory. Tony Carmola also had a homer in the game.

The Indians had 8 runs on 7 hits and committed 6 errors in the game. Northwood had 5 runs on 11 hits and 2 errors in the game.
