St. Joe had a slow start, but was not going to accept anything short of a victory on Saturday morning. The Indians team effort improved throughout the game and in the end, the Indians grounded the Eagles 26-8. The JV is now 5 and 3 on the season. Next opponent is Adams Eagles.

Game Summary

1Q

The Culver Eagles traveled to South Bend on Saturday morning, ready to play. They recovered an early fumble and turned it into 8 points on a touchdown and a 2-point conversion. The St. Joe Indians rebounded when Evan Price completed a 20-yard pass to Patrick Oliva. Then Oliva kicked the ensuing extra point.

In the second quarter, the Indians continued the aerial attack with an Evan Price to Austin Lee fade pass. Once again Patrick Oliva kicked the extra point.

Evan Price found his third target in the third quarter when Patrick Driscoll made an acrobatic catch to score the next Indian touchdown. A two-point attempt was stopped and the score was 20-8.

St. Joe finished the game with a fourth quarter touchdown run by Kenzel Kelly. Ultimately, St. Joe reestablished its winning ways with a 26-8 victory over the Culver Eagles.
