Boys Varsity Tennis · Thomas Pries earns 4th Consecutive NIC MVP

Congratulations to Thomas Pries on earning his 4th consecutive MVP award in NIC boys’ tennis.  This is the only time in NIC boys’ tennis history that the award has been won all four years by the same person. What a phenomenal feat! Thomas led the Indians to a 1st place finish in the NIC with a 7-0 conference record.

As the MVP he was also 1st team all conference. Joining him on the 1st team were teammates Kyle Fernandez in singles, and Andrew Sill and Max Blumentritt in doubles.  Indians coach Steve Bender earned Coach of the Year honors.

Thomas continues his quest toward the state title as he competes in the IHSAA regional round at Portage on October 13th at Portage.
