Track & Field Head Coach Mike McCarthy will lead functional movement and mobility sessions four mornings during December. All athletes from all teams are encouraged to attend and develop foundational athletic skills including barefoot exercises, balance and speed drills, and hip mobility routines. Sessions are 6:45-7:30 am on the posted dates and all athletes should arrive ten minutes early to be ready to start at 6:45 sharp in the Main Gym.
Additional track & field workouts are offered from 3:45-5:15 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays the weeks of December 2nd and December 9th. Emphasis will be on speed mechanics, using wickets, and Freelap timing system, as well as body weight circuit training, and core strength.
