Boys Varsity Track, Girls Varsity Track · Girls and Boys Track & Field Win City Championships

Both girls and boys track & field teams won South Bend City Championships last night at Saint Joseph High School. Both meets were anticipated to be highly competitive with John Adams and the energy of the meet was extraordinary, leading to performance improvements across all sixteen events. The girls held off a fast Eagles team in a back and forth battle through all sixteen events scoring 214.16 points. 22 girls scored for St. Joe. The boys dominated the field and hurdles to record a 51 point margin of victory scoring in all 16 events to amass 202 points. Every athlete played a role in winning this championship with 24 athletes scoring. Individual event winners were:
