Indians Takes The Game Over South Bend Adams In A Blow-Out Victory, 9-3
Indians had everything working on Thursday, winning big over South Bend Adams 9-3
Indians got on the board in the first inning. Bryce Lesher doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Indians scored four runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a sac fly by Vincent Frucci, a fielder’s choice by Kyle Tupper, and a double by Ian O’Connell.
Tupper was the winning pitcher for Indians. He went five innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out five. Colin Suth threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Kroll took the loss for South Bend Adams. He allowed nine hits and eight runs over five innings, striking out eight.
Indians racked up ten hits on the day. O’Connell, Cole Wheeler, Ryan Wieneke, and Lesher all managed multiple hits for Indians. Lesher, Wieneke, Wheeler, and O’Connell all had two hits to lead Indians. Indians tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Garrett Stefanek led the way with two.
Kroll led South Bend Adams with two hits in three at bats. South Bend Adams was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Searfoss made the most plays with eight.
