Alex Voss came the ballpark and meant business on Wednesday, driving in five on two hits to lead South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity past Jimtown 18-2 on Wednesday. Voss drove in runs on a single in the second and a home run in the second.

South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity secured the victory thanks to 16 runs in the second inning. South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity’s offense in the inning came from singles by Riley Fraleigh, Voss, Patrick Farrissee, Hunter West, and Andrew Washburn, doubles by Farrissee and Fraleigh, a walk by Nick Dolniak, a home run by Voss, and a fielder’s choice by Kerry Zeese.

Jacob Pipp was the winning pitcher for South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity. He allowed seven hits and two runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one.

South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity launched three home runs on the day. Voss had a long ball in the second inning. Dolniak had a four bagger in the fourth inning. Mitchell Coleman went for the long ball in the fourth inning.
