The girls’ golf team won the NIC Championship tournament on Saturday, September 8th at the South Bend Country Club.
The Indians were led by sophomore Katie Kloska who finshed the day with a 79 which tied for the individual medalist spot. She wasn’t able to win the playoff hole, however, so finished 2nd overall. All four other Indians finished in the top 10 for the tournament. Other scores included: Bella Saratore 90 (4th), Rose Veldman 93 (5th), Claire Kloska 94 (tied for 6th) and Lexi Kilcoin 98 ( tied for 9th).
The team will begin sectional play on Saturday, September 15th at Knollwood Country Club.
