Buchanan scored three runs in the fifth inning. Keeghan Kelley, Troy Holloway, and Kutemier all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Faizy was the winning pitcher for Buchanan. He allowed one hit and one run over four and a third innings, striking out four. Jack Branch threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Kelley went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Buchanan in hits. Buchanan stole four bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Branch led the way with two.
