South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity jumped out to an early lead over South Bend Clay and took home a 15-3 victory on Monday. South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity scored on a groundout by Brady Gumpf, a walk by Nathaniel Garcia, a walk by Noah Hickey, and a single by Caleb Hlade in the first inning.

South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity notched seven runs in the third inning. South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity’s big inning was driven by singles by Joe Rotkis and Garcia, an error on a ball put in play by Gumpf, and a double by Bryce Lesher.

Surf Sadowey was the winning pitcher for South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity. He went three innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out four. Seth Snyder threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Patrick Farrisee, Garrett Stefanek, Garcia, Rotkis, AJ Klimek, Nick Dolniak, Lesher, and Hlade all had one hit to lead South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity.
