South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity claimed a 11-4 victory on Tuesday. The Indians secured the victory thanks to six runs in the second inning. The offense in the inning was led by Patrick Farrisee, Nick Dolniak, Joe Rotkis, Mitchell Coleman, and AJ Klimek, who all drove in runs. The Indians got things moving in the first inning, scoring one run when Rotkis singled. Then, tallied six runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower was led by Farrisee, Dolniak, Rotkis, Coleman, and Klimek, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Surf Sadowey earned the win for St.Joe. He lasted four innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out four. Klimek threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. St. Joe hit one home run on the day. Brady Gumpf had a four bagger in the fifth inning. St. Joe racked up 12 hits on the day. Farrisee, Caleb Hlade, Dolniak, and Rotkis each managed multiple hits. Farrisee went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the team in hits.
