Brady Gumpf was bad news for opposing pitchers on Monday, driving in four on two hits to lead South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity past John Glenn 17-1 on Monday. Gumpf drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the first, and a sacrifice fly in the second.

South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the first inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Gumpf, Joe Rotkis, Nathaniel Garcia, Colin Suth, and Patrick Farrisee, a sac fly by AJ Klimek, and a groundout by Rotkis.

South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning. Gumpf drove in one when he singled.

Rotkis led the South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity to victory on the hill. He allowed one hit and one run over four innings, striking out four and walking zero. Seth Snyder threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity collected 17 hits. Nick Dolniak, Klimek, Bryce Lesher, Suth, Gumpf, and Mitchell Coleman each had multiple hits for South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity. Klimek and Dolniak all had three hits to lead South Bend St. Joseph Indians Varsity.
